"A che cosa serve l'arte" Presentation of the book with Hans Ulrich Obrist and Gianluigi Ricuperati
What is contemporary art for? And what changes can it instill in society and in those who live there? These are just some of the questions addressed by the volcanic and tireless Hans Ulrich Obrist in the book "What is art for", written with Gianluigi Ricuperati, to be released for Marsilio Editori's Cartabianca series on May 16th.
The volume will be presented for the first time on Friday 19 May at 6.30 pm by the authors in Venice, at Le Stanze della Fotografia, on the Island of San Giorgio. At the end of the presentation, in English, Hans Ulrich Obrist will sign the copies of the book for the participants. The book is available at our bookshop in Stanze della Fotografia, or online here.
All those with reservations will be able to visit the ongoing exhibitions “Ugo Mulas. The photographic operation” and “Venice. Alter mundus” starting from 4 pm at the special reduced price of €10. For university students the reduced price is €7.
